Jose Aldo can still compete with the top contenders, he is already a legend in the sport but to dominate Munhoz easily shows how great of a champion he is. Many consider Aldo as the greatest featherweight champion because of his record-breaking title defenses.
After suffering back-to-back losses against Max Holloway, he decided to move down and compete at the bantamweight division. He suffered a controversial decision loss against Moraes for his division debut, but it was controversial. The UFC decided to book him for the vacant belt against Petr Yan but got stopped.
Many questions whether Aldo should retire from the sport during that time since he has achieved a lot already. Aldo then went on to beat Marlon Vera and now dominating a durable Munhoz in a 3-0 shutdown.
In the fight, Aldo showed that he still has that fast hands and many always say Aldo is one of the most well-rounded fighters of all time. There was no area in Aldo’s weapon that he was bad. Petr Yan even showed his respect to his former opponent.

What is next for Jose Aldo? Will Aldo be able to capture the bantamweight title? It would make sense if he fights Cory Sandhagen or Rob Font. The bantamweight division is one of the most entertaining divisions to watch right now, any of the top 5 could easily be the next champion.
