Matt Frevola reiterated his intention to face Paddy Pimblett after the latter made a mark in defeating UFC veteran Tony Ferguson. And for the American, it doesn’t matter whether it would be in his homeland or Pimblett’s.

Although many were not impressed with his performance at UFC 296, Pimblett attracted the attention of other fighters in his division by putting the last nail in Ferguson’s coffin. One includes Frevola, who has always been vocal about fighting the Briton.

In his latest post, “The SteamRolla” called the attention of UFC executives to announce his plan to challenge the young fighter.

“I think it’s the fight to make but at the end of the day @seanshelby, @danawhite & The @ufc need to feel the same. His backyard or mine would be fun,” Frevola posted on X.

As Frevola noted, he would be willing to fight whether the bout is set in the US or in the UK. This should be an enticing offer for Pimblettt, who earlier shared that he would have to let go of his aspirations to join UFC 300 to join his wife, who is about to give birth to their twins. According to “The Baddy,” while he would not join UFC 300, he’s interested in pushing a fight in a rumored card in Manchester.

Accepting the challenge from Frevola is also not impossible, with Pimblett expressing earlier interest in fighting the American. Back in May, Frevola called out Pimblett. Although he wasn’t able to take the challenge at that time due to an injury he had to heal, the British fighter didn’t dismiss the idea of them entering the cage someday.

“Bit of a weird time to call me out when I can’t even train like,” Pimblett shared on X. “But (yeah), I’d fight frevola when I’m back(. He’s) probably the easiest route into the top 15.”
