Michael Chandler is still waiting for Conor McGregor to return. And as the wait continues, Chandler can’t help but keep criticizing the Irish superstar. However, McGregor has refused to take more of it, suggesting Chandler to fight Renato Moicano at UFC 300 instead.

McGregor is still clueless about the exact timeline of when he will come back into the cage. Despite his team admitting they are pushing UFC 300, McGregor knows it is not a certainty that will guarantee him a spot in the event.

Fans are starting to get frustrated with waiting, and so is Chandler. While waiting, though, the fighter continues to criticize “The Notorious,” accusing him of different things like avoiding him. However, McGregor, who is also growing tired of the situation, is not taking it anymore.

In his recent post, “Iron” made another shot at McGregor:

“Imagine saying it, ‘the greatest comeback in combat sports history’ and then doing a whole sham of a documentary about it, and then never coming back. @TheNotoriousMMA – McGregor FORGOTTEN.”

The Irish, nonetheless, seems no longer interested in replying with another trash talk. With this, instead of countering it with another insult, McGregor jokingly suggested Mociano to Chandler:

“Chandler / Mociano now there is a 300 main event!”

Moicano, on the other hand, expressed a lack of interest in the matter, saying fighting Chandler is “too easy.”

Chandler’s last bout was with Dustin Poirier, who defeated him via submission in November 2022. In hopes of welcoming McGregor into the cage, the American chooses to wait. Yet, as much as both parties want to push the fight as soon as possible, details about the match remain unavailable. With this, the Irish fighter recently lambasted the UFC, showing that this long pause in his MMA career is not his own doing or choice. As McGregor noted, his “patience is wearing thin,” urging the promotion to put him back in the octagon.
