Mike Perry is now the “King of Violence” at BKFC. “Platinum” made a remarkable performance in the circle at BKFC 56 by forcing Eddie Alvarez’s team to a corner stoppage. He’s now hoping to take down Conor McGregor next.

The bout between Perry and Alvarez didn’t last long, with the two fighters making fast shot exchanges in the ring. Alvarez sent numerous punches to Perry, who did the same to him. However, Perry’s shots apparently were more effective, with Alvarez having to talk with his cornermen by the end of the second round. After this, his team decided to end the bout due to the fighter’s swollen left eye.

With this, Perry was crowned the King of Violence of the promotion company. The victor suffered some cuts on his face, which was swollen by the end of the fight. Yet, according to Perry, he purposely allowed the opponent to “get some shots off” in order to make things more interesting for him.

“I work on the head movement and sh*t, but the last fight went so easily. I just wanted to have a battle, so I let him get some shots off,” Perry said. “Who owns combat sports now? The ‘King of Violence’ Platinum Mike Perry!”

With this latest success, Perry called out McGregor, with whom he had a faceoff in April.

“Conor McGregor would be a great matchup,” Perry said. “I just beat somebody he fought for a world title. Who’s bigger than that, though? There’s nobody bigger than Conor McGregor except me?”

McGregor joins the other names Perry is already considering for his future fights. Recently, Perry also shared his intent to push his bout against Darren Till in 2024. In his statement, Perry underscored that his grudge towards Till remains the driving force of this plan. Aside from Till, Perry most recently shared that he’s done serving as an opponent backup for Jake and Logan Paul. The BKFC even accused the brothers of using his name for “credibility.” With this, Perry underscored that he’d no longer accept backup role offers for the brothers, adding what he wants are real fights.
