25-year old rising MMA star and Bellator featherweight Jordan Parsons has tragically passed away. He was involved in a hit-and-run on Sunday morning in Delray Beach, Florida, reports say the driver of the vehicle didn’t even stop to check on the downed fighter.
Parsons was put in a medically induced coma in the hospital, where doctors were forced to amputate part of his right leg, before completing a full amputation the next day.
It was announced by Bellator today that Parsons had lost the battle against his injuries and passed away with his family by his side. He was just 25 years old, nowhere near ready to pass on.
The vehicle was described as a 2012 or 2013 silver range rover with a broken wing mirror, and police are seeking any information in connection to the hit-and-run.
Tributes to the tragic death of Jordan Parsons have flooded in over social media. RIP Jordan Parsons, we send our deepest condolences and best wishes to his family at this terrible time.
