CM Punk is under contract to the UFC as a mixed martial artist. This despite the fact that he does not and has never competed in mixed martial arts. Since Punk has signed a contract, been in the video game and had walk-out gear marketed but he has never actually competed, this means from a purely mathematical perspective he is infinitely overrated.
Punk signed with the UFC in 2014 but has yet to fight for the promotion. Indications are that he has lost nearly all of the test fights he has had in training.
Rumours are that his first bout with the UFC could be at 202 against Mickey Gall, with a reality TV show looking at Punk’s preparations for the bout being produced.
