For years the “Axe Murderer” was the best part about PRIDE, but knowing what we know now about how the promotion was quick to rig the results in order to protect the fighters who drew the best business, it sort of puts an asterisks next to a large chunk of his career.
We don’t know how many (if any at all) of his fights in PRIDE were rigged, and in fact he might not know either. His record since returning to the UFC in 2007 is only 3 wins and 5 losses.
