Poirier beating Holloway
It’s not only McGregor’s own fights that he has a knack for predicting the outcome of as he also correctly called the result of a major bout between two opponent’s he has also shared time in the Octagon with – Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway.
“Two former opponents of mine go head to head for a second time, in what will surely be a thriller!” McGregor wrote in the build-up to the fight. “I predict another stoppage victory for Dustin in the sequel.”
At the tme it was actually Holloway who was the favorite, having won no less than 13 fights in a row since a 2013 loss to none other than McGregor himself.
However, while ‘The Notorious’ didn’t correctly predict the fact the fight would go to a decision, he was spot on that the underdog Poirier would emerge victorious.
