The most skilled Fight to make right now is possibly not happening anytime soon. Two of the current top 10 pound-for-pound boxers have a chance to collide but sadly due to negotiation issues, the fight will not happen.
Errol Spence Jr. is looking to want at least a 60-40 or even 70-30 deal for the Crawford super fight. Crawford meanwhile is not interested and it unfair for him to receive the end of the deal.

Errol Spence has 2 of the major belts in the division, it may be why he thinks he is the A-side of the fight. He has beaten better opponents in the division but the resume of Crawford by winning in 3 divisions is more impressive.
The best case would be to take a 50-50 deal since both fighters are equally matched and undefeated. The fight can make the biggest revenue if both are in their prime and the clear top two of the division.
With the disputes of Bob Arum and Terence Crawford, there are still no indications whether Crawford would want to stay or opt-out of his contract.
If both fighters are willing to make the fight happen, fighters need to sacrifice some pay. One notorious big name was Lomachenko, it was reported that he gave a percentage of his fight purse to Lopez in order for the fight to happen.
Crawford may just focus on getting a fight with Manny Pacquiao or Shawn Porter instead. Crawford is clearly the most skilled boxer given his versatility and the eye test from the fans.
