Update: The match between Payton Talbott and Cameron Saaiman is now official, with the profile pages of both fighters now showing the booking.
A Payton Talbott vs. Cameron Saaiman match is reportedly being arranged for a UFC Fight Night event on March 23 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
The promotion still hasn’t confirmed the matter, but the fight is now reportedly under a verbal agreement. If true, the pair will join the list of fights already approved by the company, including the main event Rose Namajunas vs. Amanda Ribas bout, Billy Quarantillo vs. Gabriel Miranda, Trey Ogden vs. Kurt Holobaugh, and more.
Saaiman will be entering the cage with a loss to Christian Rodriguez last October. This snapped his three-fight winning streak that marked his official UFC roster entrance. As for Talbott, the fight would be his second in the promotion after a successful debut, where he defeated Nick Aguirre via submission last November.
