Top Five Worst Nicknames In UFC History

MMA fighters are really tough guys. If you’ve ever come across an MMA fighter, you get the instant sense that it would probably only take them about 3.68 seconds to end your life. They are vastly skilled martial artists after all, who have been trained in combat pretty much their entire lives.

But sometimes, you just can’t tell by their names — or their nicknames to be exact.

Here are the Top Five Worst Nicknames in UFC History.

Steve Montgomery has one of the worst nicknames in the UFC -- in all sports for that matter. No, in life. Gotta love that mullet though.

Steve “The Creepy Weasel” Montgomery

A former The Ultimate Fighter alumn, Montgomery is well-known for the seizure he suffered on the show than his stint as a professional mixed martial artist in the UFC. Now, he is known simply for his fugly moniker.

Ok now ask yourself this, why would anyone in the world want to be associated with being a weasel, regardless of profession? It just doesn’t make sense in any situation. Weasels are known as filthy, sneaky, and untrustworthy creatures. Calling someone a weasel is usually an insult.

Yet Montgomery doesn’t stop there, he adds the word ‘creepy’ to describe what kind of weasel he is, rounding out the masterpiece: “The Creepy Weasel”

I guess Montgomery’s aim was to scare his opponents before they locked horns, threatening them with some sort of underhanded sexual advance and a shady decision loss — because that’s the kind of feeling ‘The Creepy Weasel’ gives off.

Oh, and to top things off, the guy once sported a mullet in The Octagon — A MULLET!
