Conor McGregor roasted pro wrestling and the WWE recently, calling WWE superstars a bunch of “pussies” in a verbal tirade.
He took some shots at former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar, referring to the nearly 300 pound behemoth as “juiced up to the f-cking eyeballs”, and made some comments about Phil Brooks, a.k.a. CM Punk.
WWE fans were obviously riled up, and didn’t take McGregor’s comments lightly. But then McGregor took to Twitter to set the record straight, saying he never meant to irk the fans per se.
“I didn’t mean no disrespect to the @WWE fans,” said McGregor in a Tweet. “What I mean to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sundays.”

Of course it didn’t take long for WWE stars to actually fire back at McGregor, given that their profession and everything they have worked hard for their entire lives was just ridiculed by one of the most popular MMA fighters in the world.
