UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor faces the challenge of a lifetime at UFC 202. Although it’s not even for a title, the rematch with Nate Diaz on August 20 is stacked with pressure for the Irish star.

After a strong start in their first fight ‘The Notorious’ starting taking punishment in the second round. Many argue his conditioning came in to play, but the fact remains he swallowed a lot of punches from Diaz in a short period.

The bad boy from Stockton, CA had McGregor exactly where he wanted him. On the ground and pretty much defenseless, the featherweight champion had no choice but to tap when the rear naked choke was applied.

Since that time it’s been all about training for redemption, at least for Conor McGregor. Diaz was happy to accept an immediate rematch, and oddly it was the Irishman who insisted they meet at welterweight again. But what adjustments has Conor McGregor been able to make?

But in the meantime, he needs to make 170 pound for the Diaz fight, and change things up in camp…
