Polish Strawweight Ace Karolina Kowalkiewicz Looks Incredible as She Soaks Up The Sun in Beach Photos…
The Girl Next Door is no more. Karolina Kowalkiewicz is one of the UFC’s most marketable female fighters, and for good reason. She’s lethal in the octagon, with very slick kickboxing, while her natural good looks and insane physique only add to the ‘Polish Princess’s’ popularity.
Kowalkiewicz might have one of the most unpronounceable names in the company, with seemingly infinite ways of pronouncing it, but one thing everyone can agree on is that she looks good. The Polish ace is currently enjoying some downtime and has been posting some beach photos for her fans to enjoy. You’re welcome.
KK is currently ranked #4 in the women’s strawweight rankings. She’s had one title fight in the past against her fellow Pole, Joanna Jedrzejczyk. After losing to the then-champion, she dropped another loss to Claudia Galdelha but has since bounced back to win two on the trot.
Hot Property
Kowalkiewicz is just one of a number of exciting fighters in the strawweight division, which is right now the most exciting women’s division in the UFC today. Both flyweight and bantamweight are dominated by their champions Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg, with no real challengers available for either woman, except potentially each other.
In flyweight though, the UFC has one of it’s most interesting and marketable champions in Rose Namajunas. The likes of Paige VanZant, Felice Herrig, Michelle Waterson are not expected to get a title shot soon, but the fact is that most MMA fans know who they are. The UFC has spent a lot of time promoting these women because they’re dangerous and hot. Fact.
Beach Photos
In the photos that you can see throughout this article – again, you’re welcome, The Polish Princess can be seen soaking the sun up on the beach. She’s also been on safari recently in Kenya. So was Georges St. Pierre, who was attacked by a charging gorilla the other week. That’s a fact. This is the sort of mad stuff fighters get up to in their downtime.
Kowalkiewicz is from Lodz, Poland, where she still lives and trains. Compare that to Joanna ‘Champion’ who moved to American Top Team to try and develop further. Sometimes change just doesn’t work out the way you want it to. These Polish women are incredibly tough opponents.
Comeback
The former KSW champion is expected to make her return sometime this year. She looked very good in her most recent fight against Felice Herrig, lighting the American up on the feet, although she did get caught with some heavy hands. One more win will likely see her projected back into title contention – especially if Rose Namajunas is still the champion.
KK has a win over ‘Thug Rose’, and the champion would love to get even. She probably won’t get her shot just yet though, because Jessica Andrade is seen to have done enough to become the number one contender. Alternatively, Kowalkiewicz could fight Andrade in a title fight eliminator, as the pair have never fought before. Interesting times lie ahead.
