PICS: Rising UFC Star DEFENDS Her Husband’s Nazi Tattoos

Rising UFC Fighter Andrea ‘KGB’ Lee Has Sensationally Defended Her Husband’s Nazi Symbol Tattoos… Fans Are Furious…

There’s a very fine line between freedom of speech and making a very bad decision. That’s what Andrea Lee and her husband Donny Aaron found out the other day after fans spotted that he had Nazi symbols tattooed on his arms. That’s really just a no-no.

Lee is being touted as a potential star for the UFC. She recently made her debut in Rio de Janeiro, beating Veronica Macedo in the fight of the night. She’s also the former LFA flyweight champion, as she cut her teeth on the regional circuit.

However, if there’s one thing that’s sure to turn fans off you, it’s showing sympathy for anything to do with Nazis. It’s really not rocket science. Lee has responded to MMA fans reactions, and let’s just say she really hasn’t helped herself.

The picture that’s currently driving everyone on the internet crazy, is the one above. It’s since been deleted from Lee’s Instagram, so you’re welcome! If you zoom in, just between Aaron’s bicep and forearm you can see a prominent Swastika symbol. It’s safe to say that it isn’t a Buddhist reference because he also has an SS symbol on his other arm.

Aaron responded by writing a massive lengthy post on Instagram, which is still up on his page. It’s longer than the bible, but the core of it is that he got them in prison, isn’t a racist, Lee is a good person, and no he isn’t getting them removed. Here’s a snippet:

“My body is covered in tattoos that tell the story of where I have been, what I’ve gone through and what I’ve overcome. These “scars” tell my history which include a dark time when I was in prison. However, they do not accurately represent who I am today as a person, my personal belief system and the respect I have for people of all races and religion.”

Lee’s Response

As Lee is the UFC fighter and in the public eye, her response is more interesting. Let’s just say her initial response wasn’t exactly well thought out. She tweeted:

“Neither one of us are racists, we have an Asian & a black guy that live with us! Oh my gosh guys it’s a tattoo he got when he was in prison, get over yourselves.  He covers them up all the time & we happen to have a lake day and it makes an appearance. Sensitive ass mofos.”

Lee definitely didn’t help herself with this shocking choice of words. After receiving a LOT of heat, she finally decided to grovel with a lengthy post of her own. You can also see that on her Instagram. Sponsors tend not to like their fighters associating with people who actively display Nazi symbols, so it’s fair to guess that she didn’t have much choice.

Rising Star

It will be interesting to see if the UFC reacts in any way to this crisis. In reality, they probably won’t. All it’s done is increase Lee’s profile. If fans want to tune in to watch the ‘Nazi sympathizer’ get beat up, they’ll be ok with that. You don’t have to be liked to be a massive draw.

Let that be a lesson to all you folks. Literally, nothing is safe in this age of mass media consumption. What starts off as a lovely day to the lake turns into telling everyone that you’re not a Neo-Nazi/racist. Woah.
