Half-French, Half-Japanese, Shinju Auclair is the daughter of TV personality Naoko Nozawa, a major comedian in Japan. A former model, ‘Juju’ went down the unusual road of putting her career in the beauty industry to one side, and enter the unforgiving world of MMA.
‘Juju’ is fast becoming a RIZIN fan-favorite thanks to her devastating stand-up performances in the octagon. She’s got an unbeaten professional record of 2-0, which is not bad for a 24-year-old fighter. Her only ever loss in the amateur ranks came via disqualification for an illegal kick.

Kickass Personality
Auclair, inspired by watching fellow bombshell Paige VanZant, initially started off training in boxing. Then she moved into MMA, training at the Scorpion Fighting System gym in Brighton, UK, home to the likes of former UFC star Amanda Bobby Cooper.
However, ‘Juju’ wanted to go back to San Francisco, the city where she had grown up. She has moved back to the Golden Gate City and now fights out of El Nino Training Center. As her mother is a Japanese celebrity, it’s no surprise that she is happy cutting her professional teeth for RIZIN, where she can gain a bigger fanbase than the likes of Invicta.
