It’s not often that professional athletes cross over from other sports in to MMA and have success. The few that do are usually from other martial arts, or perhaps Olympic pedigree sports.

Daniel Cormier is the current UFC light-heavyweight champion and a former wrestler, Ronda Rousey was an Olympic Judo medallist, and there are many other successful crossovers from other competitive sports, but would gambling be one of those?

Meet JC Alvarado (left) and Olivier Busquet (right). They are both professional poker players in high stakes Vegas games, but they decided to take a different kind of bet in today’s video. This time, they wagered $100,000 on a fighting challenge.

The rules were simple, two men, one cage, and the massive cash prize of $100K for the winner. Although they are clearly not coming for the big league MMA shows any time soon, the fight turned out to be a wild brawl.
