2. Cyborg vs Other Fighters
At first this entry was going to be for Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (then Santos) vs. Gina Carano, but really it’s fair to say that most of Cyborg’s fights qualify for this list.
Is there any debating that Cyborg is on another level from every other woman in MMA? To make matters worse, there are generally few fighters her size available for her to fight, forcing her to cut drastic weight. Cyborg has stated ideally she would like to fight at 155lbs, but there just aren’t divisions out there for her to fight in.
Until Cyborg beats up Ronda Rousey, you have to go back to 2009 for her biggest fight. On August 15th 2009, Cyborg and Gina Carano were the main event of a Strikeforce show. Cyborg beat Carano up so badly that she would never again decide to fight. Gina Carano now makes B-movies in Hollywood, which might end up being Ronda’s fate as well.
