Raul Rosas and Ricky Turcios are the latest to enter the list of the UFC Fight Night on February 24 when the promotion returns to Mexico City.

Rosas confirmed the fight this Friday, giving him the fourth fight that will mark his UFC record. The two fighters will join other matches already confirmed for the event, including Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi, Brian Ortega vs. Yair Rodriguez, Edgar Chairez vs. Daniel Lacerda, Victor Altamirano vs. Felipe dos Santos, Sam Hughes vs. Yazmin Jauregui, and Chris Duncan vs. Manuel Torres.

Turcious was the Ultimate Fighter 29 winner. However, he will be entering the cage with an alternating win-loss record, with the last bout being a victory over Kevin Natividad in November 2022. The 30-year-old will try to reanimate his career by facing the young Rosas, with hopes he’ll get a win this time to start his winning streak.

Meanwhile, Rosas, UFC’s youngest talent on its roster, is coming from a recent win over Terrence Mitchell in September 2023. Despite his age, “El Nino Problema” can be a dangerous foe for Turcios, especially after winning two of his three UFC bouts via submission and TKO. According to the young fighter, his plan is to get the bantamweight belt as soon as possible and move to 145. As shared by Rosas earlier, he’s now noticing body and weight changes, so the move is inevitable. With this, it is certain that Rosas will be more aggressive in the cage next month in order to realize this plan.
