3. Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard UFC 136
This was the 3rd fight between the two lightweights, and it started out a lot like their 2nd fight at UFC 125 did. In that fight Maynard came out swinging and nearly finished Edgar in the first round. Throughout the rest fight however, Edgar managed to come back and arguably take 3 of the next 4 rounds. The bout was declared a draw.
Then at UFC 136 the same thing happened to start the bout, with Maynard almost finishing Edgar to win the UFC lightweight championship early. Again Edgar survived, but this time he battled back to finish Maynard in the 4th.
Neither man would find a lot of success after this trilogy however, with Edgar dropping his next 3 bouts (all title fights) and Maynard having dropped 4 of his 6 fights since. At one point Maynard had gone over 4 years without a UFC victory (from June 22nd 2012 to July 8 2016).
