4. Kalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry – UFC 83
No matter how hard Kalib Starnes tries he will never live down the time he ran away from Nate Quarry at UFC 83.
Starnes dropped a unanimous decision to Quarry at the Montreal event, and was cut from the UFC afterwards, never to return. He was made fun of by the MMA community for the amount he ran from Quarry in the bout. Quarry would mock him mid-bout as well by breaking out into a version of the “running man” dance move.
Despite the notoriety, Starnes kept fighting, though he would never make it back to a big promotion. The 42 year old last fought in April 2016, losing to Tim Hague.
