1. CM Punk

Before competing in the UFC, CM Punk had zero athletic background whatsoever. He didn’t compete in high school or college in any sport, no jiu jitsu tournaments, no amateur boxing, nothing. All he had ever done was take part in choreographed fight scenes as a member of WWE.

He has a large following and the UFC likes money however, so he was signed to fight!

After taking 2 years to learn how to fight, Punk finally stepped in the cage at UFC 203. The fight was the only thing it ever could have been. Mickey Gall took him down, beat him up, and the fight was stopped. It was hard to watch.

Many have stated that Punk must have been delusional to believe he could just get in there and fight in the UFC. While that might be true, there is still something mildly respectable about having the guts to go through with it.
