UFC CEO Dana White’s promised superfight is one of the biggest things exciting MMA fans today. And although the phenomenal Georges St-Pierre won’t be at the UFC 300, he provided names that could be present in the event.

St-Pierre has recently denied being in the event, stressing that he has no plans to fight again after reaching 40. The legend, nonetheless, didn’t entirely dismiss the possibility of trying grappling again after healing “100%” from his injuries. As such, entering the cage in April next year is almost impossible.

Yet, GSP has a few names in mind if he’s the one to decide who should join the UFC 300 event. According to “Rush,” these fighters include current and former champs who remain to make a buzz in the MMA world.

“There’s a lot of guys I like to watch fight,” the retired fighter said during his attendance at the Fight Pass Invitational event last weekend. “Obviously, Jon Jones is one of my favorites. He got hurt, it’s unfortunate. I like to see Usman, Chimaev, I like to see Adesanya, I like to see Makhachev. McGregor is another one I would like, Volkanovski is another one, there’s a lot of guys I would love to see fight, maybe doing super fights between them in something like that. I’m sure the UFC have a better idea than I do.”

Dubbed a “superfight” event, the UFC 300 will likely feature the biggest names within the UFC rosters. And while White admitted that McGregor won’t be in one of the bouts, there are already rumors of who will be featured in the event. One of them is the name mentioned by St-Pierre: Adesanya. Despite being in a “long” break, recent claims say that the promotion will likely push The Last Stylebender to face Alex Pereira in the cage again, as the latter continues to make the callout.

Jones is also likely to join the event. Although the timeline of his return remains unclear due to his injury, White made it clear that the company will still push the plan to make him face Stipe Miocic. Needless to say, no other perfect chance will make this fight more massive than the UFC 300 next year.
