
6. Maynard vs. Guida
Clay Guida is generally thought of as a fighter that will knuckle up and throw down. A blue collar guy who just goes in there and fights. His fight with Diego Sanchez in 2009 was a dog fight between two guys that left it all in the cage, and is one of the more exciting fights in UFC history.
Fast forward 3 years to his fight with Gray Maynard in 2012 however, and things had become quite different. The fight was in the main event of a show on FX, and Dana White would later be quite critical of Guida’s new style of fighting he brought to the bout, one that involved frequent stalling and running away from his opponent.
