3. James Toney’s Loss to Randy Couture – UFC 118
It would end up being Randy Couture’s second last MMA fight and his last MMA win. It would be James Toney’s only professional MMA fight.
Professional heavyweight boxer, James Toney, had been pestering UFC President, Dana White, for a shot in the UFC. White opted to give him a shot in the semi-main event of UFC 118, opposite the legendary Randy Couture.
At 47 years of age, Couture easily took Toney down. After a few minutes on the ground, Couture locked in the RNC and Toney tapped before he was put to sleep.
