Henry Cejudo was calling her out, but we’re not so sure that’s a good idea. ‘The Lioness’ will literally melt anybody that stands in front of her. Is she technically the best boxer? Perhaps not, but she’s still well capable of closing the distance and putting damage on you.
She infamously overwhelmed Ronda Rousey in under a round, putting a savage beating on the UFC’s golden girl. But her victory over Cris Cyborg is probably her most definitive. Her fellow Brazilian came on strong, and Nunes demonstrated superb counterpunching to finish her off. She’s a top MMA boxer.
