Who has the best hands in the UFC today? MMA fighters need to have many different skills. Wrestling, kicking, punching, BJJ…the list goes on of all the different fighting styles they need to be familiar with. Some fighters are specialists and decide to choose a single art to focus on.
While you have to respect wrestlers and submission artists, fans tend to love strikers the most. Whether it’s via kick or punch, there’s nothing more stunning than a crazy knockout. Today we’re going to look at the 10 best boxers in the UFC today. All of these fighters use their hands to dominate and decimate their opponents.
Honorable mentions go to Conor McGregor and Nick Diaz, but they haven’t been active. Meanwhile, it’s not 2012, so Anderson Silva doesn’t get a place. Who do you think we’ve missed out on?
10. Nate Diaz
The younger Diaz brother has some of the best hands in the promotion. His skills are so good that they’ve even attracted the praise of Andre Ward. The former super-middleweight champion actually used Diaz as a training partner for his fight against Chad Dawson.
Diaz is a high-volume striker. Like his older brother Nick, he tends not to knock out his opponents with one punch. Instead, he breaks them down over a number of rounds. Ward also had a lot of positive things to say about Diaz’s footwork. He believes it gives him an advantage over most MMA fighters.
