Chuck Liddell
In his UFC heyday, Chuck Liddell took full advantage of being one of the sport’s biggest stars and was known to party like a rockstar.
However, that appeared to catch up with him during an infamously cringeworthy interview on the ‘Good Morning Texas’ show back in 2007 in which Liddell was so incoherent that people immediately began to suspect he must be either drunk or on drugs.
The show’s host soon began to show concern for how Liddell was acting, asking him if he was ok at one stage as he repeatedly mumbled and slurred his words and even appeared to momentarily fall asleep at one point.
The appearance was hugely embarrassing for both Liddell, who claimed later he’d overtaken sleep medication, and the UFC, who pulled him from all his other scheduled promotional interviews to avoid any more PR disasters.
