No.4: Niko Price vs. Randy Brown
Niko Price pulled off one of the most unlikely finishes of the year against Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 133 in July.
By all accounts Brown was in a strong position early in the second round, on top looking to pass Price’s guard.
However, Brown unexpectedly found himself in trouble as Price hooked one of his legs and at the same time put one of his feet underneath his opponent’s chins.
From this unlikely position on his back Price then had enough leverage to start blasting away at Brown’s head with surprisingly powerful hammerfists, and the very first one to the temple seemed to badly rock him.
As more landed Brown quickly slipped into unconsciousness, though the way his head was being held up by Price’s foot and the fact it seemed so unlikely that a knockout would come from that position meant that he actually landed several more blows before the fight was finally waved off.
