14. Israel Adesanya vs. Kelvin Gastelum
With the interim middleweight title on the line at UFC 236 earlier this year, both men fought their hearts out. It was Gastelum who made a big impact in the first round. He set Adesanya reeling back against the cage with a right hand. In the second, ‘Stylebender’ evened the score by dropping him with an overhand right.
After Adesanya survived a Gastelum takedown in the third, they went back to war on the feet in the fourth round. It was Gastelum who came on strong again with a head kick, wobbling his opponent whose face was becoming heavily swollen. However, Adesanya then dug deep in the final round, threatening Gastelum with a guillotine choke and a triangle choke. “The Last Stylebender” floored Gastelum twice in the remaining minutes to help secure an incredibly hard-fought unanimous decision victory.
