With the UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Pyfer just hours away, fighters joining the event attended the ceremonial weigh-ins. Unfortunately, while everyone made their weights, one fighter fighting in a middleweight fight failed.
This Friday, UFC fighters on the card were weighed, including Jack Hermansson and Joe Pyfer, who will headline the event. Both pair alongside Andre Fili and Dan Ige, the co-main event of the card, made their weight.
Sadly, Ihor Potieria missed the weight required for the middleweight. It is important to note, nonetheless, that Potieria is currently a light-heavyweight fighter, who accepted the fight on short notice. With this, he has to fight 20 pounds lighter than his earlier fights under light heavyweight. “The Duelist” registered 187.5 pounds on his first try but was not given the chance to cut more. That said, in his middleweight debut, Potieria has been fined 20 percent of his purse.
