Damn…that was one of the strangest endings to a fight ever…
Going off like a 10-pound firework in Sweden was UFC Fight Night 109 this past Saturday. Many expected the main event to hold the card up, but what we got was a solid card, exciting from top to bottom.
One particular fight that wasn’t getting much heat was between welterweight prospects Nico Musoke and Bojan Velickovic. Both men have heavy hands and were needing a win after losing their most recent fights.
Bojan Makes Nico Do The Chicken Dance
After two close rounds, the fighters met in the middle of the octagon for the final frame. Lunging in during an exchange, hometown favorite Nico Musoke caught a flush punch to the face.
Resulting in one of the weirdest jelly leg, baby deer moments, Musoke did the chicken dance before getting finished on the mat.

Damir Hadzovic
Getting the show off to a great start, Damir Hadzovic scored a dramatic KO win against heavy favorite Marcin Held. Losing on all the scorecards, Hadzovic needed to do something big in round three.
Right off the bat Held went for a takedown, and then it happened. Hadzovic launched a powerful knee that connected. The sound was something like a baseball home run. Commentator Dan Hardy could hardly contain his excitement.

Gustafsson Wrecks Teixeira
With the light-heavyweight title picture taking shape again, both men needed the win in Sweden. When the moment came to be, it was the hometown hero Gustafsson who showed up to win.
Teixeira proved tough, pushing ‘The Mauler’ for five rounds, but Gus was simply on fire. Numerous combos, with an uppercut as the main weapon, dropped GT. The finish came in the fifth, and was a savage walk-away knockout.
Watch as Gustafsson beats on Teixeira like the Brazilian owed him money:
