The UFC is a weird place right now. Much like in the real golden era of boxing in the 1960’s, pop culture is starting to swarm towards MMA. Stars like Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey have helped catapult the sport in to mainstream media.
Following years of trying to promote the image of a legitimate sport, it seems mixed martial arts is pretty much there. The early days of the UFC were a far cry from the polished and professional looking promotion of today.

Hafthor Bjornsson, the actor who plays The Mountain, became the subject of a viral MMA video recently. He sparred with UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and the MMA world loved it. Well, apart from Roy Nelson.
