The UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is rapidly becoming the most well known face in all combat sports. During his three years fighting for the UFC, ‘The Notorious’ has built up a legion of followers, which includes many major TV Networks and media stations.

His every move has become watched by millions, but it’s landed McGregor in hot water to some extent. Apparently the UFC doesn’t want any of their fighters to become bigger than the organization, and so a stand off has begun.

After announcing he was retired less than two weeks ago, the rumours began to spread like wild fire about McGregor’s will to fight again. He was originally set to face Nate Diaz at UFC 200 in a rematch of their UFC 196 bout, where Diaz had handed McGregor his first UFC loss.

Many argued Diaz had took the fight out of McGregor, stole his will to compete, but it was just days before ‘The Notorious’ and UFC president Dana White told more of this twisted tale.

White officially announced that McGregor had been removed from the UFC 200 pay-per-view super card on July 9, and this was no pro wrestling kind of stunt.

Now the UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta has finally given his opinion on Conor McGregor….
