The greatest women boxer is now transitioning to MMA and joins PFL (Professional Fighters League). Claressa Shields has run out of challenges in the boxing world and wants new challenges in her career.
Claressa Shields may only have 10 fights in his professional boxing career, but she has achieved a lot in that 10 fights. In her fourth fight, she won the WBC and IBF super-middleweight champion.
She is the current unified undisputed middleweight champion of boxing. Prior to her professional debut, she was already an Olympic gold medalist in boxing, so her achievements speak for themselves
Claressa Shields has shown videos of her training in the MMA, and although her techniques are not the best, she is still improving. She is one of the most talented combat athletes on the planet right now.
Lol first time ever throwing a kick in my life! But as promised! Save the criticism, you guys couldn’t throw a jab like me on the first day 🥊❤️ To be continued though, I enjoyed practice pic.twitter.com/6ARbaHdpVd

The current best MMA women fighter right now, Amanda Nunes has shown interest in fighting Claressa Shields. Nunes has beaten almost everyone in the UFC and has probably also run out of contenders.
Nunes’s best wins were against Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg. Both of her opponents were big names in women’s MMA history. Her win against Cyborg put her name in the consensus MMA GOAT because she moved up and beat the boogeyman Cris Cyborg.
She became the double champ when she beat Cyborg, and the first in women’s MMA to be the double champ and defending both divisions.
Claressa Shields has indicated that she wanted to fight Nunes in Boxing and MMA. She said that she needs time to prepare for her MMA debut and what better way to showcase in PFL.
PFL may not have the best-talented roster in the MMA community but they still have legit contenders. The PFL has a bracket-style Grand Prix where the fights are guaranteed of the best fighting the best.
One notable fighter that came from PFL was the former UFC interim lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje. Although during that time, it was called WSOF but later acquired by PFL.
Claressa Shields has already announced before that she plans to move to MMA because boxing doesn’t deserve her. Shields has also called out Laia Ali for a super fight.
I’m going to do MMA because the boxing world don’t deserve me 🤷🏽♀️

Laila Ali is a retired boxer but is still a big name. Laila is the daughter of the late boxer, Muhammad Ali.
It may not be a good sight to see since Laila’s last fight was back in 2007 and given she is already 42 years old. She is already out of her prime and it would be a shame to see her get outmatched by a prime Claressa Shields.
