Miesha Tate, who faces Holm with the title on the line in the co-headliner of UFC 196. Meisha Tate is the underdog at +250. This $77,000 bet placed by ‘Vegas Dave’ could garner a $192,500 payday.

Miesha Tate previously made 2 unsuccessful attempts at dethroning Ronda Rousey. The first bout took place in 2012 under the now defunct Strikeforce banner, with the second being in 2013 at UFC 168. “Cupcake” lost both fights by armbar. If Tate is able to defeat Holm at UFC 196, it could set up a third matchup with Rousey, who was expected to receive an immediate rematch after the loss against Holm.

The build up to the Holly Holm – Miesha Tate women’s bantamweight title tilt has been overshadowed by the main event featuring the bold and brash Conor McGregor. The classic boxer versus wrestler matchup will be contingent on which fighter can keep the opponent in their wheelhouse. Holm is a former professional champion boxer that showed great takedown defense against Rousey, forcing the fight to stay on the feet. Tate is a former high school wrestling state champion who has showed tremendous heart in toughness in her MMA career.
