Wow…Conor McGregor might have literally lost his mind. Cameras caught McGregor being escorted out of the 3Arena in Dublin and his reaction was strange indeed…
UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor continued his ill-fated run of madness last night. After being caught on camera using a homophobic slur in Poland last month, ‘The Notorious’ had received heavy criticism.
This time in Dublin at Bellator 187, McGregor went completely nuts, both physically and verbally. Watching his friend and training partner Charlie Ward fight, McGregor picked up his feud with Marc Goddard during a controversial night.
Having already been told off by Goddard at the Gdansk event for going nuts cage-side, the Irishman and the respected UFC referee had a history. When Ward landed a fight-finishing blow on John Redmond in Dublin, it all boiled over when McGregor jumped the cage.
Goddard instructed McGregor to leave, then things got physical in a number of clashes between McGregor and Goddard/Bellator officials.

Out of Control?
Out of control would have to be the understatement of the year. There’s simply no excuse for the madness that transpired last night. It was as stupid as it was unnecessary.
Has the money gone to McGregor’s head? Well, judging by the following video, it’s more than just money giving ‘The Notorious’ blurred vision.
Watch the Irish star talk about “rat” Marc Goddard, while spewing a bunch of other illegible barbs:

“I was trying to say, ‘keep going,’” McGregor explained (video shown above). “It’s that same referee, I lost me head with him. I said, ‘it’s you, ya rat.”
“It was a beautiful shot,” McGregor added about Ward’s knockout finish. “He’s out cold, they all knew he was out cold and he’s still trying to call it. ‘Oh no, he wasn’t the fight’s not over.’ I said, ‘it’s you, ya rat.’”
Not entirely sure McGregor is seeing what happened clearly yet. It appears that Goddard was telling McGregor to leave the cage as he had no right to be in there. ‘The Notorious’ seems to think Goddard was trying to let the fight continue.

Then there’s the slap on the commissioner that could potentially land McGregor in even hotter water. There’s having a shove and a shout, then there’s striking an official during a live MMA event.
Whether or not you’re a fan of McGregor, it’s clear to see this is unacceptable behavior:

While the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation (MTDAR) was regulating Bellator 187 in Dublin, Ireland, on November 10, 2017, the following events took place during the Ward vs Redmond bout.
Mr. Conor McGregor who was a spectator at the time, disrupted the event by scaling the cage prior to the conclusion of the bout. Mr. McGregor’s conduct jeopardized the health and safety of the bout participants by delaying necessary medical attention to the fighters that were injured during the round.
In addition, Mr. McGregor assaulted Referee Mark Goddard and a Bellator staff
The MTDAR has been in consultation with the upper management of the UFC regarding Mr. McGregor’s inappropriate and unacceptable behavior.
The MTDAR has also contacted members of the Association of Boxing Commissioners that have licensed Mr. McGregor in their jurisdictions to inform them of Mr. McGregor’s behavior.
Here we go, Jon Jones 2: Irish Boogaloo.
