Wow, Anderson Silva like we’ve never heard him before…

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has been through the mill in recent years. After the longest and most dominant title run in UFC history, ‘The Spider’ fell on hard times in 2013.

Losing by shock KO to Chris Weidman at UFC 162, Silva relinquished the title. Then, in the same year at UFC 168, Anderson Silva suffered a career-threatening leg break. Even following his miraculous 12-month recovery, Silva’s troubles were far from over.

Silva’s Decline…

Returning to face Nick Diaz at UFC 183, Silva’s decision win was overturned when he popped for steroids. Further getting himself dragged over coals, ‘The Spider’ tried a viagra-related explanation with the Nevada Athletic Commission.

One year later, Silva would lose an extremely narrow decision to current champion Michael Bisping. Following a 48-hour notice loss to Daniel Cormier, Silva finally got a win, his first in nearly five years, against Derek Brunson.

Now, with just one win in his last six fights, the Brazilian icon is furious with the UFC:

Anderson Not Happy

Kelvin Gastelum, recently removed from his UFC 212 bout with Silva, has sparked a bit of a situation. Silva claims the UFC

“I’ve been in Rio a long time, started training camp and I am very frustrated because nothing happens with my fight in Rio. I don’t know, the guys don’t talk to me. Sometimes they say fights coming, no fight come and now, nothing happens. They gave me the option to fight for my country for my fans,” he said during a recent appearance on “The MMA Hour.”

“I stayed here for a long time for training,” Silva contined. “This is not my fault for Gastelum to go out of the fight. This is not my problem. My problem is training hard for fight in Brazil for my fans. What happens to my fans now? What happens to the people who paid to see my fight in Brazil. This is the second time this happened. I’m tired of this.”

Silva Goes Spam

“Dana and Lorenzo say, ‘Okay, when Georges come back, you fight Georges for super-fight.’ I said ‘okay.’ I (trusted) him, but nothing happened,”

“I don’t know what happened. Nothing happened. Georges St-Pierre is now back to fight for the belt. It’s terrible! This don’t make sense. I know it’s a f—king business, but I’ve been working hard for a long time.”

“In my mind, this is my personal opinion, this is disrespect for different fighters in the (middleweight) category. This is disrespect for everybody. This is bullshit. I don’t know what happened with Dana White.”
