The world of women’s mixed martial arts continues to grow in popularity. Although the UFC in no way pioneered WMMA, the world’s largest fight organization has played a massive role in helping advance the sport in general.

It’s strange to think that five years ago the UFC didn’t even have a women’s division. UFC president Dana White blasted WMMA, claiming the promotion would never house a female division. How times have changed.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is no doubt the biggest female MMA star of all time. Even though she lost the title to Holly Holm at UFC 193, ‘Rowdy’ still commands the most recognition in all women’s combat sports.

Holm’s loss to Miesha Tate at UFC 195 is a statement to Ronda’s calibre. Holding on to the belt for so long and defeating so many contenders in sub-minute times is quite an achievement.

But she isn’t the BIGGEST woman in MMA by a long shot. Meet Gabi Garcia.

Grappling queen and now professional mixed martial artist Gabi Garcia stands 6′ 2″ tall and weighs a colossal 238 pounds. She is 2-0 as an MMA fighter ad is a 10-time world Jiu Jitsu and Abu Dhabi champion.

And guess who she challenged to a fight? As well as her statement to Ronda Rousey, Gabi Garcia can be seen blasting the pads and looking bigger than ever in a video uploaded yesterday.
