That was unbelievable! UFC Sydney saw arguably the best heavyweight knockout of the year go down on the preliminary card last night. Check out the video and full result list below…

UFC Fight Night 121 went down in Sydney, Australia last night with a host of homegrown talent on show. Although the heavyweight main event between Fabricio Werdum and Marcin Tybura was a little thrown together, ‘Vai Cavalo’ made sure the Aussies knew he was there.

During a controversial video, Werdum attacked Colby Covington with a boomerang after allegedly punching him in the face. Werdum ended up winning his scrap with Tybura by dominant decision.

Elsewhere on the card, we saw Ryan Benoit completely starch Ashkan Mokhtarian with a harrowing head kick knockout. Bouncing back from a split decision loss to Brandon Moreno last December, Benoit put away his foe with a shin to the chin in round three.

Then there’s Tai Tuivasa…

“Bam Bam”

Australian knockout artist Tai Tuivasa wanted to make a big statement last night. Formerly a professional rugby player in his home nation, ‘Bam Bam’ was 5-0 with all knockouts coming into his UFC debut.

Facing Rashad Coulter, Tuivasa got the job done in the very first round. With a finish quite rare for the heavyweight division, ‘Bam Bam’ dispatched Coulter with a flying knee after dropping him with a low kick.

Watch the brutal KO here:

Bam Bam indeed, what a way to start off a UFC career!
