Photos surfaced recently of a slimmed-down Conor looking leaner than he had before UFC 196, leading many to believe that Conor’s camp was going with a strategy of winning on the feet but not going for a knockout; out-boxing Diaz but getting in and getting out, then earning a decision.  As seen below however, Conor almost appears to gas out just trying to blow out his birthday candles.

The video footage here shows a winded Conor McGregor almost unable to blow out birthday candles, which have many of his fans concerned about his cardio…

 

Ok ok so it appears they were trick candles…

That being said a big variable that will impact how UFC 202 goes is how well Conor can compete in the later rounds.  We know how good Nate’s cardio is, this fight might just come down to how good Conor’s is.
