Diaz, who credits his boxing skills to having spent time with world champion boxer, super middleweight Andre Ward, heavily criticized McGregor’s boxing for being sub par prior to their first bout. He said McGregor doesn’t train with any ‘real’ training partners.

“You’re playing touch butt with that dork in the park with the ponytail,” Diaz said infamously in the build up to their first encounter at UFC 196.

The ‘guy with the ponytail’ Diaz referred to is McGregor’s movement coach Ido Portal.

Time will tell if McGregor has put enough time in developing his boxing skills, and if he can beat Diaz who will now have a full training camp behind him in the rematch.

Aside from this, a producer in the video also confirmed that a special primer for the big match called “Bad Blood” is being filmed and is set to air on FOX Sports 1 the week before the fight.

“It features the bad blood and the rivalry between Conor and Nate, so it’s going to be pretty sick,” the producer said.
