It has been called both “the McGregor Walk” and the “Billionaire Strut”, but either way its a great way to let other people know you are quite confident in yourself.

McGregor has a very distinct and cocky swagger to his walk, and other sports stars are beginning to get in on the fun. The walk itself is easy enough to imitate, all you do is puff your chest out and allow your arms to flow freely with the movement of your body. McGregor adopts the walk whenever he wants to give off a cocky attitude, as was the case when he entered the cage at UFC 205.

Shortly after the event, Paul Levesque, better known to pro-wrestling fans as “Triple H” tweeted out a video of his father-in-law Vince McMahon doing a similar walk from years back.

Triple H was at the event in MSG last weekend, and was said to be very interested in bringing McGregor into the WWE for a few appearances. WME-IMG is also said to be interested in working with the WWE to exchange stars from time to time, most notably Brock Lesnar and possibly Ronda Rousey.

With Conor McGregor in the mainstream media now more than every, many big sports celebrities are paying homage to him by imitating “the McGregor Walk”.

Marc Gasol

Memphis Grizzlies forward Marc Gasol couldn’t help but get in on the swagger. Gasol didn’t receive two title belts when he broke out the McGregor walk, but it was still an impressive performance.

Shaquille O’Neal

The video of Gasol prompted NBA analyst and 5x NBA champion, Shaquille O’Neal, to imitate his own version of what he refers to as “the Irish walk”.

Paul Pogba

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba plays for arguably the most well-known sports franchise on the planet, but perhaps he secretly wishes he was really in the UFC. He broke out the McGregor walk in practice and posted it to his Instagram.

Kiko Alonso

You can tell that Kiko Alonso was waiting for his opportunity to do the McGregor walk. After scoring a touchdown he brushed off his teammate so that he’d have room to do it.
The Miami Dolphins player tweeted out the above video after the game.

2016 was one epic journey for McGregor. He’s earned that swagger.
