UFC president Dana White got snubbed in the octagon after UFC 220’s main event. After hyping the living daylights out of Francis Ngannou before the main event, White got a taste of his own medicine from Stipe Miocic…

There aren’t often UFC title fights where the champion is the heavy underdog. There are perhaps even fewer championship tilts where the defending champ is completely overlooked by the promotion.

That’s exactly what happened prior to last night’s UFC 220 in Boston. Reigning champion Stipe Miocic was on the cusp of breaking the heavyweight curse. For years, even the best-of-the-best at 265 pounds could not get past two consecutive title defenses.

Having brutal Knockout power and owning the most savage KO of the year so far, Francis Ngannou was having the hype piled on. UFC president Dana White likened a punch from ‘The Predator’ to being hit ‘by a Ford Escort going top speed.’

As it turns out, firefighter beats Ford, and Dana White’s face during the beating at UFC 220 summed it up:

Dana White watches on as Stipe Miocic beats his next potential money train…

Stipe Gets Some Revenge

As the judges scores of 50-44 across the board were read out, Dana White’s next hype train was derailed. Obviously, Ngannou came and tried to do his job, and this is nothing against ‘The Predator.’

But fans are getting a little tired of the UFC hype machine, regardless of who it is they are trying to sell as a speeding car or sledgehammer. No doubt Ngannou will be back decapitating some poor soul in his next outing, but Miocic was the better man this night.

As for the champ’s ownage of Dana White, watch as Miocic refuses to let Dana White put the belt on his waist.

Another big win for Miocic, who showed a great chin as well as crisp striking and movement to avoid Nagnnou’s KO punches. As for Ngannou, there are plenty of victims for ‘The Predator’ to face next.

This possibly won’t be his only title fight while with the UFC, but he better up his game if he ever gets a rematch with Miocic, because that dude is legit.
