Nate Diaz is willing to bring out the Stockton slap again, but it'll come with a cost...

One would think in order to stay relevant to the sport, the fighter must keep on winning or else he will get cut from the UFC. Well that is not the case with Nate Diaz who a double digit loss on his career. The question is who doesn’t love the Diaz Brothers?

Nate Diaz stole the show in most PPV card despite not fighting for the title. He was not even the co-main event in UFC 263 but a lot fans were screaming Nate Diaz. In his last fight against Leon Edwards, he was dominated all 5 rounds but most fans were still interested Diaz fight. One minute left in the fight, Diaz clipped Edwards that wobbled Diaz, a lot the fans were standing hoping for an upset comeback but Edwards survived.

Even in that last minute of the fight, Diaz managed to stole the show on what thought be a one sided fight. Edwards even gave props to how veteran Diaz is in the sport of MMA. It seems Diaz really gets better as rounds progresses.

Diaz has said that the doctor stoppage against Jorge Masvidal was unfortunate as he felt like he getting better and could have beaten Masvidal. That may have been true or it may have ended badly for Diaz.

Nate Diaz was always a fan favorite alongside his brother Nick Diaz. Both may not have gotten a UFC title but most fans know their name. Diaz became an even massive star when he pulled an upset win against Conor McGregor in a short notice fight. It then setup one of the most popular fight in UFC history which is the rematch of McGregor vs Diaz.

Diaz was not even active prior to the fight but still fans remember him. The Diaz fanbase is massive mainly because he guarantees an entertaining fight win or lose. Their transparent attitude also makes them more charismatic compared to other fighters.
