5. Randy Couture vs. Chuck Liddell
When Tito Ortiz kept making excuses to not fight Chuck Liddell the UFC had to step in and make an interim light heavyweight title fight between Couture and Liddell. Liddell came in the favourite for their first fight at UFC 43, but the 39 year old Couture took it to Liddell and finished the fight in the 2nd round.
After Liddell finally got his hands on Tito Ortiz, Liddell would put his sights back on Randy Couture and the UFC light heavyweight championship. Liddell won the rematch and the title by knocking Couture out just two minutes into their fight at UFC 52, this after the inaugural season of the Ultimate Fighter was spent building up the fight.
Finally the trilogy would be completed at UFC 57, with Liddell knocking Couture out in the 2nd round to successfully defend the championship.
