Alongside Megumi Fuji, Tara LaRosa is arguably the best female fighter never to fight for the UFC. She once went on a phenomenal 15-fight winning streak, tearing through every woman who crossed her path. LaRosa was excellent in all departments, but especially in submission grappling as a national champion.
Unfortunately, by the time she reached the Ultimate Fighter series she was past her peak. Many fans reading this won’t be familiar with her or will think Holly Holm deserves to be on this list ahead of her. Trust us, LaRosa was a phenom.
