Relentless Chael Sonnen Has Responded to Jon Jones Saying That He’s The Worst Trash Talker in The Game… With LOTS of Trash Talk…
Oh, Jon Jones… what did you expect? The man they call ‘Bones’ is one of the best MMA fighters in the business. Even take away the whole steroid allegations thing, he’s still technically unbelievable. Absolutely no question.
But he seriously needs to up his social media trash talk game. He’s just not very good at it. If you’re going to do it, you need to do it right. The likes of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagamedov, and Floyd Mayweather are all black belts in the art. Right now, Jones is about a purple belt.
He made the dubious error of calling out Chael Sonnen’s trash talk the other. It was a ludicrous decision because Sonnen, being the ruthless man he is, has responded. Many many times. Sorry, Jon…

Big Mistake
It all kicked off when Jones told a Russian media outlet that Sonnen is the worst trash talker in the business. It’s actually a bizarre statement because Sonnen has one of the most compelling personalities in the sport, and built his career like a sort of proto-Conor McGregor. Anyway, he seems to have taken it as a challenge.
Jones is almost to easy to target. Sonnen stung him with some absolute zingers. He didn’t hold back, as he targets Jones’s hit and run incident outside the ring. These include:
“Jon Jones had the same game plan in and out of the Octagon–Hit and Run.”
“JonJon You trash-talk about as well as you exchange insurance info after traffic accidents…”

Drug Use
Of course, you can’t blast Jon Jones without targeting his “alleged” drug use. Sonnen made full use of all the references he could make to snorting cocaine. Seriously, there’s so many. If you go on Sonnen’s Twitter you’ll see them all. He wrote:
“Jon Jones-I heard you are not allowed at your brothers football games because you tried to snort all the lines off the field.”
“Turn your cel-phone off; USADA has GPS TRACKING.”
“Fedor is such a white pasty lump that Jon Jones just tried to snort him.”
“Jon Jones-Your career took a bump in the road…and then you tried to snort it.”
“JonJon I treasure you As long as you’re around, I look like a clean overachiever.”

Hilarious
This is what happens when you poke a sleeping bear. It will be interesting to see how Jones responds… if he does. It’s a waste of time really because it’s just so difficult to rattle Sonnen in any way. He’ll just shoot back harder and meaner. The man has no inhibitions.
Meanwhile, Jones is set to make his MMA return – very possibly in November. USADA have tested him once this year which is a bit of a joke considering his dubious record of failing drug tests. Meanwhile, Sonnen is set to take on Fedor Emelianenko as part of Bellator’s Heavyweight Grand Prix, that seems to have been going on forever. Cool poster though!
