5. Tony Ferguson and Colby Covington
We’re cheating a little bit by putting these two men in the one section. But two interim titles together might be worth the same as the real thing right? Both of these men won the temporary belts before being unceremoniously stripped by the UFC.
Ferguson’s was particularly unfortunate as he got injured while on media duty for the promotion. He tore his LCL after tripping on a camera wire and was ruled out for six months. Meanwhile, Covington needed nasal surgery and was also harshly stripped of his plastic title. Both of these men deserve proper title shots.
