7. Matt Brown
Matt Brown is a proper fan-favourite, and no wonder because he’s a tough dude. He lost to Amir Sadallah in the final but would go on to get 14 wins in the UFC proper. He’s tied for the most wins in the UFC welterweight division, with five-fight of the night bonuses.
He once went on a seven-fight winning streak. He lost a title contender decider to future champion Robbie Lawlor, but boy, it was a classic fight. Brown has had his ups-and-downs, but he’s still well-loved by fans and because of that deserves his place on this list.
